Life as a Dog and The Human Body: Eyes and Ears

HEC-TV's Explore! program once again descended upon our TV studios on Wednesday January 22, 2014, offering our students roles as production assistants. Check out these behind the scenes photos from the live shoot and stay tuned for upcoming videos and archives from the program.

Life as a Dog
What is it like to live life as a dog? How can we better understand our own senses by comparing them to those of our four legged friends? Investigate these questions and more as you meet a dog named Radar, interact with a veterinarian, and explore the world as a dog experiences it.

The Human Body: Eyes and Ears
For this episode of Explore! we focus on two specific parts of the human body, our eyes and ears, and ask the big picture question, “How can we better understand our senses of sight and hearing and the impact they make on our lives?” Learn fascinating facts about your eyes and ears. Experience what it’s like to explore the world with different levels of sight and hearing. Interact with an eye and ear care professional.

Real-life student video projects

Video packages and factoid videos were produced by Ladue Broadcast students and utilized during the live show. Other Ladue videos will also appear on the HEC-TV website as bonus footage.
