DURING CLASS
  • Edit WALLDO projects
  • Follow this required sequence (this is the exact sequence as your sample video and follows the WALLDO acronym. You only need to use ONE of each WALLDO shot you recorded. For example, you recorded 2 Wide shots, so you nay have to select 1 to add to your project. You recorded to Angled shots. Therefore, you only need to select 1 of those Angled shots to include in your project....and so on.
  • Use only the BEST 3-5 seconds of each shot
  • Order of shots are:
  1. Wide
  2. Angled
  3. Low
  4. Linking
  5. Depth
  6. Opposite***
  7. Last shot after Opposite should be your interview shot WITH audio saying their name and spelling it.
  8. (include the entire clip of the person saying their name, even if it exceeds 5 seconds.
Special editing instructions
  • Detach and delete the natural sound audio from your WALLDO shots
  • Add music by selecting the music and sound in the toolbar in FCPX. Once there, select "iLife Sound Effects" - Jingles - (and then select one of those songs.)  Click and drag it under your shots in the timeline and adjust the volume accordingly as I taught you.
  • When you have completed the entire video, go to the "Show Share Destinations" button above the tool bar on the far right (arrow coming out of the square) - select Apple Devices 1080p - change the title to (your name) WALLDO - select next - save to the Desktop - and share with Goble through Google Drive,
